I am creating my first website using evolution 17.0.8 (formerly a frontpage/expressions user) --
I have created numerous pages which all use the headers and footers from the template content section -- these are company logos and contact informationin the header and about us / distributors in the footer.
I want to be able to have the user print the page.
I created a PRINT THIS PAGE button using the print page link button.
It works from the preview mode except that when i print a page using my print page link button, the footer of the page overlays text on top of page.
how do i prevent this and have the footer print at the bottom of page where it belongs?

Hi Ken.
This indeed looks like a weird issue. Is your website online somewhere perhaps? If not, maybe you could upload it temporarily to a subfolder of some sort on your domain as to be able to correctly test this online?
Also, does this happen on every page or on some only? What about the content of the page, is it still there?
Please keep me posted on this
Thank you

I have just uploaded my website 5 evolution website (www.dionics-usa.com) to replace my old website --
the footer info (containing my contact info) along with a "web radio" appear as if it is a watermark on the first page printed. I did use the web radio template to create this website -- i thought I deleted all references to web radio though...
this problem happens whenever I use the print page imbeded link on a page (such as the one i have placed on the bottom of my webpage http://www.dionics-usa.com/hv-display-drivers.html
I am sure I must be missing something simple -- any help would be appreciated.
the problem still exists when i go to print the page with the link or even when I right click / print the screen.
Thanks,
Ken
Hello Ken
Maybe you could use something like this : http://eksempelsite.dk/print-part-of-page.html
This way you can maybe better control the printing
Hope it is useful for you.
Ken, I get the same strange result when I use file print preview in Firefox, is it possible you are using embedded code somewhere??
I have to admit that I have never been too happy with any "print" options in any website (including WX5) and have always resorted to providing a pdf of pages I wish users to print (eg https://esahc.com/000-help.html). The print icon is top right on the page.
Hi Ken.
I was able to verify the issue and I've proceeded to reporting this to the developers, so that further investigation can be performed on this
I will be sure to notify you here as soon as news on this become available
Thank you
