Hi ... I hope everyone today is happy.
please help the admin
I have used website x 5 evo version 16, I just had to re-install my Windows PC and install the X 5 Evo 16 website.
Here a problem occurs where the license that I used previously cannot be used ...
what should i do, i've been using it for a long time.

Hello Polo

You should be able to download your X5-versions from your INCOMEDIA account.

When logged in to your account, you have a dropdown available in the right side of your username.

You will see :

My profile

My credits

My licenses

Download

And some more options.

Choose Download, and you will see a list of your versions available to download.

Hello Polo

Your UP ( Update Protection ) has ended.

This means that you can still use your product as it is now, but you are not allowed to get updates.

If you now have a bug-filled version of the X5, then you are unlucky - but this is how INCOMEDIA has chosen it to be.

If you want new updates you must buy a new update-"protection" - OR - you must use an earlier version with not so many bugs. If you already have made projects in version 17, then you are again unlucky.

You could say you are in a kind of trap. But there is a way out - you pay for UP, and then you will have a year before you are in the same situation.

John, you can see that Polo clearly stated he is using v.16 and NOT v.17. Therefore, Update Protection is a non-issue and does NOT apply here.

Polo, if you contact Incomedia directly and explain that you needed to re-install Windows on your PC, and if you are only using the software on a total of 2 PCs, then Incomedia will work with you to resolve the problem at NO COST.

I saw that, but also thought that maybe there was updated.

This is interesting. The update was stopped before a new version was made. I guess the version 16 is only for download in the "latest" version - this means a newer version. I also guess that there is not versions available for each update point.

This is a problem we could all face - how then will we be able to download a version we can install?

I think it would be a good idea, if the update protection was for "the users actual version until end of this". I think that what we pay for UP could cover this.

It is not a smart thing to post your licence key's here, i have hidden you post with this information.

Show these only in privat post's! (in privat posts only Incomedia can see your post, and only Incomedia can respond.) But mostly they won't ask for it because they have alreade acces to them.

I have set this post for Incomedia to check in any case so they can clarify the issue.

I also see the End of UP which has been exhausted 2 months ago. I don't know about this. It might also have made an update afterwards. What should I do again?
