Hello and thanks for answer.
I would like create "guidepost" on mainpage of my website. I woud like split up my dental office website to 3 ways: stomatology, orhodontics and dental hygiene. All in the same template but with different colours. Please tell me, is it possible create this guidepost on mainpage? At this time I have 3 solo websites:
www.ambroz-dental.cz
www.hygiena-mohelnice.cz
www.ortodoncie-mohelnice.cz
I prefered only 1 page for all theese websites. This is a reason why need a guidepost.
Thanks a lot for your answers.
Best regards, Zdeněk

Hello Zdenek
You could on your dental website create a project in the root. This project could tell about stomatogology, orthodontics and dental hygiene. ( this would be the "guidepost" ).
In/to the root you make 3 subfolders where you put your existing projects. You can do this by changing the target for the ftp and also change the project settings ( url )
I would suggest you start by creating the subdirectories. Then make copies of your projects in X5, and these copies you change regarding the target ( change destination to the subfiólders ).
You can do this and still have your original projects and sites.
When you have tested that the sites in the subfolders functions as the "original" sites, then make the new projects that will be the "guidepost" to the subdirectories.
In this project you make links to the homepage in each subdirectory. You can also make links from the sites in the subdirectory to the other sites and/or to the "guidepost"-project.
Hope you understand what I try to explain.
Doing it this way will make the "original" two other sites redundant.
You could keep them, or if people is getting used to these sites and have links to them them , you could make a redirection for these old sites, so you only have to maintain the "new" project.
The way I suggest is the same method suggested when you want a multi-language site.
Instead of a language you here have firm-types.
You can have the same layout for the sites and use different colors.
If your goal is not to have a "guidepost" AND reduce your number of domains, but only to have a guidepost you could :
Create a subfolder in the dentist. Make a copy of the dentist-project and set the target to the subfolder.
Then change the original dentist-project to a guidepost-project OR make a new project that you place in the root for the dentist-site, and make this new project the guidepost-project.
Then make links from the guidepost-project to the other 2 projects and to the dentist-prohect in the subfolder.
The links can be made as levels in the menu ( in the guidepost-project), where you have links for the level that directs to the corresponding project/site.
I still hope my explanation is understandable.
