Is it possible to show items in smaller viewports and not show them in the larger viewports  en

Your program very conveniently allows you to hide items in a viewport, or hide them from the viewport you are in downward.  But, what if you wanted some text or a graphic to show in the mobile viewport (under 480 pix), but you do not want to show it in the larger viewports?  The opposite way.

The reason I am asking is because as the viewports shrink, several text items in my footer, I am hiding in the smaller viewports.  I would still like to make the links and information available to customers, and I thought if I could put a note somewhere about the information that is hidden in smaller viewports, but only relay that note to phone users.  Thus hiding the note on tablets and PC's.

If it cannot be done, I will just try to put a message low on a few pages about how when you are on a phone, you don't get to see it all....  And everyone on every device will see the note too.

John, I could not agree more!!! One use for me would be to have a high bandwidth movie on the site at desktop resolution, but a simple picture for mobile devices.

As for your existing issue. You can make the footer(or header) deeper for mobile display in template structure so more information will fit, and in Template Content you can add objects that will be visible only at the chosen resolution or below.

I have marked this post for Incomedia's attention. Perhaps they can note your request and re-vist my request :-)

(It > En)  ... if you're interested, you could get it with simple extra code ...
... if so, to continue, you must post the LINK of your page and indicate the item you want to delete in higher resolutions ...
... otherwise ignore my message ...

... best regards to all ... ciao ...

Hi John,

thank you for your message.

At the moment, you can hide an Object on Step 4 only for lower resolutions, while you have more freedom in this sense for Header and Footer. Still, I have already reported this request to the developers so it can be taken into account.

Thanks! Kind regards.

Thank you for all the comments.  Seems like other people would like to see the same option come into being.

And yes, on my less wide viewports, I have made the footer taller to allow items on the right in the wider view to drop under items on the left.  That part I got and is very nice.  Too bad when you jump to the smaller viewport, some of the graphics and text wants to hide on you, to the point where you think it disappeared and thus you go back and copy and re-paste it.  Then a day or two later, the original shows up overlapping something.  And when you go to delete one, if you get the wrong one, you just deleted it in the larger viewports so you get to go back and do it over.  Part of the learning curve I guess.
