When you use Hover Button add on with WebSite PRO 17.1.1 height and width of the button are always locked so the shape of the button is always a square which you can't change. There used to be a lock button that you could unlock and change width and hight independedly which now has dissapeared. Any help?

Denis,
Goood remark.

And no they have not disapeared, this lock is behind the selection field.

Next question is why, well my best guess is that you have set on your screen an higer zoom factor 125% for instance.

This makes the text and buttons bigger but not the pop up, so it does not fit anymore in the x5 pop up.

Solve is easy, set your advanced screen options of your screen back to 100%, if you want a bigger screen set resolution lower.

Goodluck

If it does not work let me know.

Best Regards,

Hello Andre,

Thank you for the response.

Unfortunately your solution doesn't work. Lock is still behind the selection field no matter what zoom factor is on.

Any other suggestions?

Regards,

Denis.

It must be the resolution of your display.

What reslotion do you use? What operating software?

Minimum Screen Resolution needs to be 1024 x 600

Hi Denis & Andre E,

I have had a look at my Version 17 Evolution and the option to change the ratio height to width is not there,

however I checked Version 14 and this option is present, hope that this helps.

Ok gents,

See that the size of text is set to 100%
Version 17 with correct screen settings:

With text enlargement in windows it looks like this:

Enlarged you can see a part of the lock.

The lock is there but behind the text because text is enlarged.

Hi Denis and Andre E (the wise one),

Yes Andre, you are correct when the screen resolution is set to100% the lock button can be seeen as below:

However this raise two questions:

1. Version 14 was viewed with the screen resolution at 125% the same as for Version 17 and the ratio change was viewable.

2. Not much point in having a larger screen monitor (24 inch in my case) and not being able to use

 it to its full advantage.

To me it looks like another one of Version 17's little foibles.

Anyway glad that you are here to solve these issues.

Jim

I agree V14 works always, but maybe changed because elsewhere in the program the lock key got used as well.

Maybe Incomedia can take a look at it and change it back, but there could be more of these things happening on other box pop ups.

In my opinion its better to keep it at 100% also for other programs.

Anyway, now people know and they can act on it and continue....

I will set this post for Incomedia to check so they can take this issue into account and make a better solution for it in future releases.

Thabk you all.

Hello guys,

Thank you very much for your responses!
In my case High DPI scaling override was causing the problemm - not screen scaling. And it's not just for Hover Button but for all my add-ons that use scaling (Animated Image for instance).
I'm on Win 10 and my screen is 15` and has resolution 1920x1080 so if I turn this feature off, the rogramm bicomes blurry and uncomfortable to work with.

Previouse versions didn't have these problems.

Please address it to developers.

Thank you!

Regards,
Denis

Thx Denis for the feedback.

Nice to know that this is also one of the variables, maybe there are even more, anyway users know where to look for now.

Maybe you increasse frequenty, or drivers. on my laptop it looks good that is also 15 inch or even 14 maybe.
