When logging into the control panel I get a Internal Server Error can anyone help me

This is usually an error on the server, ask your hoster if something might need to be changed or what the reason is.
In some cases, you can check the log files yourself.
Often there is also an error message that is more accurate than error 500 general servers of internal errors. Where can the error be seen, web address/link
