Show/Hide in "responsive settings" for each level of resolution...  en

In the "Responsive settings" of a Page Creation, have buttons to Show/Hide an object for EACH resolution!

Allows for total control of what is displayed.

At lower res I want simpler objects to be shown - but I don't want them seen at higher res.

At the moment I can only "hide" objects at lower res, i can't "hide" them at higher res.....

So basically I could create two versions of an object - then tag if to show at high or low res.  Currently I can only hide at low res.

I see Esahc's similar suggestion is now over 3 years old.......

As good as X5 is, I think I will have to look for an alternative authoring tool: so many good ideas from years ago from so many users are not implemented......

This problem has been reported already several times.

Here is my post/suggestion from October 2018. the title of it is Show/Hide objects for different resolutions.

I show there in images what exactly I would like to have done. I also show quick way to show/hide objects using just couple of lines in the HTML/CSS code (between <style> and </style>).

I was able to get my desired results in about half an hour. The company cannot implement it in years.

Pathetic...

Thanks Tom G..... hopefully Inco will respond with an improvement one day (soon??). I looked at your code method - i'm trying to keep my project code free for simplicity and so others can made changes etc without knowing any html, js, etc.  But it shows how easy the solution should be....

So I've been looking at other authoring systems that do all the things everyone is looking for and has more of the X5 bugs tackled.  This one, hide/show object for different resolutions, I have found as a feature in a mac based authoring tool.  Its real good.  You create, if you want, objects for each resolution if you want - and you can then enable where you want them shown - one for mobile, one for tablet, one for desktop.  Nice!  The code for each landing page is also much more compact - 20K as opposed to 250K for my 200 page website.  I've enjoyed X5, but its falling behind.....
