I have a site (https://midsouthmc.org) that looks as it should when built with X5 ver 16.3.1.1. BUT... when built with X5 ver 2019.1.6 the layout is not correct. The first image is how it should look (16.3.1.1. The second image is how it looks in ver 2019.1.6. Ideas??

James, if you look in step 2 template content (or sticky bar) you will find you now have absolute control over menu, logo and title placement. Simply resize/reposition each object as required. Be aware that on import the colours of the menu may well have been recreated as images, this can easily be fixed.

I see that you have removed the excessive white space as in the screen capture, did you resize the header? https://midsouthmc.org/

HiYa Esahc... no, what you see at https://midsouthmc.org/ is still the site built with ver 16.3.1.1.

James - you are of course correct (you have stripped out the WX5 version credit and I failed to look further). Have you checked the header size for all resolution in step2 template structure? In converting the site WX5 will have made assumptions about header size and allocation of space for menu.

Have you been able to reposition all the objects in the header to your satisfaction? This should be done in step 2 template content (unless Jamies code over-rules this). Simply select the object and drag to where you want. If you wish to move graphic and menu together you can select the graphic, hold shift and select menu object - now they will move together. You will need to make positional changes for every resolution.

Hi James as per our previous chat if you remove the #imContent and #imContentGraphics custom code this should remove the white spacing.

Because we use position:fixed for the header and menu object this is why it's not aligning correctly under position fixed use margin-left: 100px !important;

As you are aware James we have updated all of our templates on https://mixupmarket.com to website x5 2019 and during this process we have removed slot of the custom code as it was no longer needed. But we have modified some existing code where it is needed. If you need more help let me know.

Jamie
