Hi
Is it possible to create a full width slider for my home page with multiple images with different text placed on each image or do I have to place the text on each image in software like photoshop.

It is possible to use one of the X5 sliders.
The "standard" slider ( gallery ) can do it, and it can be full-width.
It shows the text and when hovering the image the text disappears, so the full image can be seen.
You could also use the text object as a slideshow.
Here you can place the text beneath the images.
Use more tabs and define the view as a slideshow.
