- Downloaded Free 14 to Windows 10 desktop

- Created a simple website. Previes looks great

- Got a domain and hosting with GODADDY, that is all working

- Go to Export page, Upload the WebSite to Internet

- set up the details FTP Address, Unsename, Passtoed, Destination Folder: public_html, Port: 21, Simultaneous connections: 1, Use Passive FTP Ticked on

- Do the Export and get report:  all looks fine, but there are Zero fiiles in public_html, (and no project files in the other folders)

(I also tried Export WebSite to Disk, which is does but basic files like 404 are missing, coppied them to GODADDY but it is a mess.

Just copied the saved files manually to the GODADDY cPanel directories, and it works fine. SO Why doesn't the Export Upload to Website work directly is THE Question. (Thanks for helpful answers in advance. M)

Hello Michael,

Now that you have manually copied the WebSite X5 project files to the server, when you go back to WebSite X5 do you see these same files and folders in the screen shown immediately after pressing the 'Next' button in Step 5 > Export > Website Export to Internet?

Kind regards,

Paul

Hi Paul, You know when you spend ours on someting, and been messing with PCs sonce 1982, and the answer is right here?!!! This WEBSITE X5 is no non intuitive in places, and gives no hints. The answer was so bbvious. You have to use the green right arrow in the Top Right again once the connection is made, and only then are the actual files Exported. I got it a while ago before you posted...

Anyway, many thanks, and I hope the team get to make it more obvious one day.

Kindest of regards and thanks, Michael
