www.ne.hrgb.org.uk is hopefully going live Tuesday 1 October 2019. Within the site is an Application Form for 'Sheffield 2020' When delegates complete the form and submit the form they are getting the confirmation page (from within the site) what they are not getting is the confirmation email and a copy of the completed form. To access the application form - http://www.ne.hrgb.org.uk/sheffield-2020.html Any suggestions would be gratfully received.

Andrew,
Upload the site. goto the admin panel and check several email scripts, then set the one that works in x5, upload and all should work.
http://www.ne.hrgb.org.uk/sheffield-2020/admin
check also with your host what they expect from the software (x5) for sending mails, mail is send by your provider, but every provider has different security measures, that's why x5 has several script's.
check also the needed php server (the software that run's at your webhost and handles e-mail as well

I have checked PHP currently at PHP 7.2 (Reg-123.com) Application Forms have in the past been sent and received. But not at the moment. Is there a delay between forms being sent and received (10 - 12 hours) and helo would be appriciated. We have a national event and Applications need to be live as of today. ww.ne.hrgb.org.uk/sheffield-2020.html I am getting pressure from the national committee.
Hello Andrew,
Did you run the email diagnostic tests in the online control panel like Andre suggested? You can access the control panel here:
http://www.ne.hrgb.org.uk/admin/login.php
Detailed information and instructions can be found in the links below:
https://help.websitex5.com/en/v2019.1/pro/index.html?imp_pannello_controllo.htm
https://help.websitex5.com/en/v2019.1/pro/index.html?pannello_controllo.htm
Once logged in to the control panel go to the section Website Test > Test your e-mail settings - there are five different email scripts accessible from the drop-down menu entitled 'Email form script type' - send a test message using each one until you find one which works correctly.
Any errors will be reported in the 'Email Log' at the foot of the test page.
Be sure to check spam and junk mail folders both on your server and also in your email client, in case the messages are being diverted there.
Please let us know the results of the tests.
Kind regards,
Paul

Hello Paul - thank you for your prompt reply.
I have run the diagnostic tests as you suggested and all the email scripts work as per the attatchment. The problem is when applicants fill in an Application Form from http://www.ne.hrgb.org.uk/sheffield-2020.html
They receive the confirmation page from within the website but applicants are not receiving the confirmation email, the settings have worked in the past July/August for previous application forms but is no longer working, see attachment.
Many thanks for your continued support.
Andrew
Andrew,
Some providers demand that you use email adresses, if you use a form, that have there name it, so e-mail adresses from there own e-mail client.
if you use other email clients they will not accept it due to security reasons. happpely not all providers, but maybe yours does. try to use a email adress form the hosting company that has been given to you in the email form and see if this does the trick.

Hello Andre E upon further testing it appears that no one is receiving a confirmation email. Forms are being received to *** but not confirmed to the sender via an email and copy of the collected data.

Hello Andrew
Would it be possible for you to attach a new screenshot of the way the Contact Form is currently configured for you?
Andre pointed you the right way. This probably has to do with the email that you're using to send out the confirmation.
In general:
I would uncheck this:
Set an email from your domain here:
And at Step 1 -> Data Management, the domain email again:
Try this out and let me know if it works then
Thank you

Hi Stefano
Thanks for your time.
I have followed the instructions above.
Really is a mystery - other forms work, applicants fill in a form submit it and get the page confirmation followed by an email. I have just completed a form and it hasnt been delivered and I have recieved the following email.
Do you thinkthis might be the problem? Sorry, Im a relative newcomer and its a proper 'learning curve'.
Many thanks for your patience and time.

Hello Support - is there anybody that might be able to help? I have four contact forms and three work, the most important 'national event application form' doesnt - any suggestions please. The contact form is not being recieved to recipients and the confirmation emails are not being sent to the user. I have followed the instruction above but they did not help. Is this an IP problem or software issue. I am a relative novice and just want the best for the society I serve. Many thanks Andrew
The info say's it has been detected as spam, so it's probably refused for that reason. (if a spammer has send too many mails the provider or receiver server can be programmed to refuse the mail on some content that the spammer has used.
Try a different mail adres or different text in the test from x5 until you find that it works.
