What is the purpose in Settings/Advanced - Code?

If I add code in the After Opening HEAD, such as google analytics; what does it do?

If I then create a new page, the Expert area of the new page has nothing in it? The code added in Settings/Advanced didn't get attached to the new page?

Thank you

Adrian

Hello.

"What is the purpose in Settings/Advanced - Code?" - You can add additional code or styles that will be automatically applied to all pages of the site. Example.

"If I add code in the After Opening HEAD, such as google analytics; what does it do?" - Now the Google Analytics code has been added to all pages of the site and transfers statistical information to your Google Analytics account.

"If I then create a new page, the Expert area of the new page has nothing in it?" - All right. Here you can place additional code or styles that will be applied only to this page.

"The code added in Settings/Advanced didn't get attached to the new page?" - This is not entirely true. The code you added in Settings/Advanced also applies to this page. It’s just that it doesn’t appear in the page settings.

Ah, so am i then adding the code twice if it is in the advanced settings and then i add it to the page level as well?

I should go look at the page on the server with a text editor.

Thank you Aleksej,

Adrian
