Find and Replace

It would be great if Website X5 has a search or even better a search plus a search and replace facility - at the MAP I'd like to be able to enter a search term and have the map just display pages that include the requested content - and maybe then go to PAGE and be able to do search and replace.

If you have many pages it can be hard to find where a text or code is placed.
If it is pure text you can use the search facility that X5 provides when the site is online.
But - you can also use the Notepad++
In the projects folder in the preview, you can have the Notepad++ search files and then you will be presented/supplied with the page-names that has the matching phrase. You could also do a replace, but it will be overwritten by the next preview. With notepad++ ( free tool ) you will be able to search for not only text ( well - it is text ) but also for a piece of code.
I know this is not quite what you asked for - but I guess you could wait many many many years for such a function to be a tool in X5.

THANKS - Yes, I have Notepad ++ (It's a great tool for all sorts of things) but I would prefer the functionality to be in Website X5 so I thought it was worth mentioning it.
The product is good (I'm using it to build a replacement site for my main business site) but I am seeing some things that could be better and hopefully some that the developers will improve.
Drag and Drop (rather than cut & paste) in the page block overview screen would be a nice start :)
