Surprise X5 php file in public_html web folder

I just upgraded to latest PRO version.
After publishing; I find a surprise file in the public_html folder: wsx5-(......).php.
What is it? And why is there no mention of it in the release notes.....

These files have been generated by WebSite X5 for some time now. Stefano gave advice regarding them here:

Yup, that old issue was an HTML file, this one is a PHP....
Delete it?
Yes, if you like. I deleted quite a few of these over the last few weeks, with no ill-effects on projects. In my own case every single one carried a .php extension.
I've noticed recently that these files have stopped appearing on the server after an upload (again in my case), and I'm still trying to establish why they sometimes appeared before, but not now.
I took a look inside some of them a while back, and if I recall correctly they had something to do with checking for PHP/MySQL compatibility on the server.
