Hide the sitemap from Google indexing  en

Hi,

I'd like to hide the sitemap from Google indexing please as I'm getting errors from Google Mobile Usability

(There seems to be no way to edit the format of the sitemap - such as the text size/objects too close).

Here is the page Google is failing my site on:

https://www.localwindscreenrepairs.com.au/imsitemap.html

- text too small to read

- clickable elements too close together

- viewport not set to device width

I also have paid for Evo 13/17/19 - but this site was from my old 10 version and is not compatiblefor import.

If you can help me fx this "simple" issue, i'd be very happy!

Thanks!

Steve, I took a (very) quick look at your site on my mobile and it looks fine. Imsitemap.html was a wonderful feature but no longer supported by WX5.

Just delete imsitemap.html  from your host and Google will stop giving you grief.

You can delete it thru FTP in WX5 or with FileZilla or similar.

WX5 does not synchronise the upload directory with the host, so old pages no longer used should be deleted.

Hey Esahc,

Great, that's pretty straight foward!

I've gone ahead and deleted it, it's now giving a 404 Not Found - which is good. I'll run the validation tool and all should be well :)

Thanks for the fast and accurate solution laughing
