I've just upgraded from version 8 to version 9 and I'm in the process of rebuilding my website from scratch. I've got 2 pages that I want to insert links into (Favourites/Default Page & Print Page) but the "Insert Link" button is always greyed out. The page properties is set to "text" but nothing I do seems to get me access to the "Insert Link" button. In version 8, I hasd no problems and the website I'm designing now is similar.

Also, I was led to believe that in version 9, the website visitors could register usernames and passwords to access locked pages but I can't find anywhere in the user guide how to do this.  Help!

Hello Mick!

Could you please add a screenshot of the first issue you described? It would help a lot!

You can find ''the access management'' function (pag 152. on the user guide). Here you will be able to discover how to create a reserved area for your users.

Dear Mick, please note that you also need to select a word, phrase or a picture, in order for the Insert icon would be selected and not grayed out.

Tahnks heaps guys! Something so simple yet frustrating!!! OK, so the Insert Link issue is solved but I'm still having trouble setting up locked page access that offers the visitors to select their own username and password. Any ideas?  Cheers!

You're very welcome Mick.

I'm glad the link issue is resolved. As far as for the locked page access, you have to click on Advanced Settings in the main menu (that's number 4) to the left, then chose Access Management, and from there you can set up your groups and their privileges.
