Website X5 Evolution is not running anymore on my laptop ( Windows 10). There are no error messages. If I try to start the program with the icon, nothing is happening after 5 seconds. (Also the logo will not comes up).

I somebody can suggest any idea, what could cause the problem, I would appreciate it.
(I tried to reinstall, but still have the problem. I uninstalled the anti virus software, but still have the problem.

Thanks in advance!

Ferenc, no error at all?

If you run it from the list of programs through the start button rather than the desktop is this the same?

Can you make your way to the control panel and run Administrative Tools and run Event viewer?

Under Windows logs I would clear each log (take a backup when offered if you wish) and then restart PC, then run WX5. If nothing happens you can then re-check the logs and look for recent errors and report back to see if we can assist.

Ference, I am not sure if this is the same solution as provided by Klaus, this is from the helpcentre

https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/177137

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off
Clear the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and then click on OK. Clear also the check box for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 and then click on OK.
After Windows disables the feature you will need to go back to re-enable Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.6 and then click ok.

If the problems persist we may need to address C++, but I'd reckon you have found the problem.
