Hello,

I updated from Pro 15 to Pro 16, not all the buttons in by website give me an error "The Hover Button Object is not-up-do-date."  I have over 500 hover buttons, who can help?

All objects are updated, the "Hover Button" does not show an update.  Any other thoughts?

Thank you.

Thomas, if you have not tried it, please hold ctrl when you click preview.

If this does not work perhaps step 5 export project to create an iwzip. Then restart wx5 and select import and import your new iwzip. This will NOT overwrite your existing project.

I didn't explain fully.  I transfered from my old laptop to my new one. Just tried again.  It works fine on the old laptop, but once again when trasfered to my new laptop (both on version 15) the same problem exists.  Any thoughts?

I strongly suggest export/import via iwzip. In fact I recommend create iwzip on old laptop and import onto new laptop. If it does not work, please advise.

I exported to my USB drive, from old laptop, imported into my new laptop.  Same results.  I will try to import to version 16.3.1 and see if that works.

Thomas, I am now running out of ideas. Have you tried uninstalling the optional object, closing the project then re-opening and again installing the hover button? (If this fails we may consider deleting the Incomedia folder in appdata/local, this would require reregistration/activation of WX5)

As a matter of passing interest, you state you transferred the iwzip via a USB drive, you are not running the project from the USB drive are you? (running a project from an external, network or cloud based service is known to cause instability)

Thanks for the ideas.  No I'm not running it off a thumb drive, I do however think that my One Drive is transfering things behind the scenes and possibly causing the issues.  So I think I will completely uninstll website X5, from the new PC, reinstall and then transfer the project.  And YES I did unintall the object, then reinstall - same results.  Luckily it works from the old PC properly.

Thomas, if you are re-installing it could not hurt to delete the Incomedia folder in appdata local after uninstall and before reinstall.

I doubt it is the issue, but msconfig will let you disable one drive.
