Resized Imported .gif File In V9 Does Not Function As In V8  en

In WebsiteX5 V8 i was able to import a .GIF file into a text box for page content in the page creation, and resize the image to my requirements. Unfortunately when i do this with WebsiteX5 V9 the image is static and does not animate any more. Is this another negative feature of V9 or is there another way of making this work? After recently purchasing V9 i would expect to be able to import a website created with V8 and at least be able to correct the errors so that it appears and functions the same way as with V8. This seems to not be the case as there are numerous problems which must be corrected. Regards Richie.

The best way to see this is to try it yourself.  In V8 or V9 simply import a .Gif file into a text box in page creation and look at the preview.  You will see that it animates correctly.  Now resize the file in Text Object editor and look at the preview again.  In V8 the filw animates correctly, but in V9 you just see a static image.

Hi Richard,

my suggestion is use the image object fo the gif and not resize with the text object.

But if you need to resize the gif image you can load the .gif file in your webspace and use the HTML object with this code:

<img src="www.yoursite.com/images/aaa.gif" height=100px width=100px />

and resite the image with the height and width.
