You did a t shirt website tutorial for V9 Tees X5 Store (http://tees.websitex5.com ), which I can not access as it was created in V9 how can I upgrade it to run in evo V2019.2.9 or do you have a version that can run on V2019.2.9

Or can you let me know how to create multiple options for a product before it is added to the cart ie

We need about 5 options before save to cart in case the customer changes their mind - End1, End2, Hose Length, Bore Size etc. Can you help- Keep up the good work Many thanks Carlton

Hello,

With Pro v2019.3.14 you can create something like that into the GUI and changing  price / weight regarding the option (same price/weight for the option, but you can create many options)

And on the website the rendering is:

Hope this helps

Hi Elisa thanks for coming back with your suggestion I have looked at the Pro version and as far as I can make out you can only have two input variations we need at least 5, thats why I was asking about the T Shirt Web project you did in V9 and asked how to upgrade it to V2019 you list some of the coding but it is easier to understand visually. Can your team help

Hi!

I confirm that at the moment you can set up some variants and sub-variants, but unfortunately it is not possible to inset more. You can for example have some t-shirts and define the color and the size, or the size and the design, but not for instance color, size and design.

Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.

Buongiorno Giuseppe!

Ti ringrazio molto per il suggerimento, mi permetto di tradurlo, così che anche C O. possa metterlo in pratica, grazie!

@C O. please check out this page: http://www.bozzasito001.altervista.org/shop2019/pagina-demo-prodotto.html

As you can see, the different options have been combined: the customer can choose the design type and then the size and color are combined so to be used in a single sub-option.

Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.

Disegno FIORI - Lana / Taglia M - Color BLU

in questo modo l'utente che acquista può indicare il DISEGNO, il MATERIALE (Lano o Cotone), la TAGLIA e il COLORE. Credo che così sia davvero completa la descrizione del prodotto che si intende acquistare.

Puoi tradurre senza problemi. Ciao ciao

Thanks Giuseppe and Elisa B. That is the sort of thing we are trying to do, do you know where I can get or see the code for this.

We need our customers to select about about 6 or 7 different input options and then have all of them added to the cart by a single click of the add button.

See link  https://hydraulicmegastore.com/hose-assembly/ . This is exactly what we are trying to achieve.  They select one of all the options and then at the bottom of the page press add and contents are added to the cart. Can anyone help

Thanks Carlton

Hi Giuseppe - Thanks for the above info and there is nothing wrong with your English it's 100% better than my Italian.

I understand what you are saying, that works fine if you have one product with 2 or 3 or 4 options for the same product.

We need  product 1 make a selection with various options

product 2 make a selection with various options

product 3 make a selection  with various options

and so on up to 7 products and then have an add button that saves all the products at the sametime. Hope that makes sense.

If you look at the example in the link I gave you in the last post the customer has to choose an item from each section and then the items are added to the cart at the end.

All I can see is that once you move to a new product, the previous product has to be saved to the cart.

We are using the latest version of X5 EVO.

Thanks Carlton

Thanks for the compliments for my English.
Now I reread all your topic from the beginning and try to better understand what you want to achieve.
Warning! With the EVO version, if I remember correctly, you cannot use the variants and sub-variants...

In the DEMO page ELISA is talking about (link below):

http://www.bozzasito001.altervista.org/shop2019/shoes.html

What is the OBJECT USED in product presentation (see the picture below)?

And, more importantly,THE PRICE of that shoe has to be inserted MANUALLY for the each item or..?

Sinisa, ciao. That object used by me in my template is ANIMATED IMAGE. You can find it in the Incomedia Marketplace among the purchasable items.

Hi Giuseppe - I think we are all getting confused, so lets start again if no don't mind

We make custom Hydraulic hoses from Italy funnily enough and our customers need to make 6 selections per hose. All these selections need to be selected before the items are added to the cart ie.

Selection 1 - Hose length , select length of hose ( answer needs to be stored in memory but                                        not added to cart)

Selection 2 - Thickness of hose , Select hose width ( answer needs to be stored in memory                                                  but not added to cart)

So on and so on until you get to selection 6.

Once selection 6 has been made, the customer now presses the 'add to cart button' and answers for selection1 - 6 are added to the cart at the same time.

Link - https://hydraulicmegastore.com/hose-assembly/

This is exactly want we want to do.

Normally with the cart when you make a selection you add it to the cart straight away, then move on to the next selection and do the same, therefore, you will have pressed the 'add to cart buttom' 6 times. There must be a way to collect all the information and then add to cart with just 1 press of the 'add to cart button'

Thanks Carlton

Morning Giuseppe

Thank you for your example but it does not solve our problem.

I think the only way to proceed is to add HTML code. As you rightly say it is beyond X5 capabilities.

I think with a lot of people on this forum that the e commerce side needs a major update.

Thank you for all your time spent on this, it is very kind of you and stay safe.

Thanks Carlton

@ Giuseppe

Grazie!

The prize has be entered manually in the ANIMATED IMAGE or we could link the shopping cart data to that object?

I'm asking you this because it will be painful to edit prices on multiple object if we have to put it manually...

I'm sorry Carlton. Unfortunately beyond those functions of Website X5 you cannot go, if you are able you should try to insert extra code to the Website X5 cart. Good day to you. Regards
