When adding a product to Shopping Cart, what is the point of 'Product 1'... it ALWAYS has to be overwritten! And while I'm at it why can't product display properties in Shopping List be retained from product to product... sure we shouldn't have to change the properties every time we add a product. Most people I assume would want to be consistent in their Shopping List presentation. Or am I missing something here? :)

Hi Barry,

when you add a new product the default name is "Product X" if you want you can create a .csv file of your product and import it.

You can see our file and create yours (for example with notepad) with yours product and import it:

I can now quite happily import products, but the default setting when displaying those products is 'Picture and Text', 2 items per row and a block size of 150.

For each product I would like to set my own defaults... i.e. 'Text Only', 1 product per line and a block size of 50.

If this is not possible under the current version, may I request this for a future upgrade?

Hi Barry,

try to look at step 3 in the option of the e-commerce object, in Settings.

In Display mode select "Only text".

Hi Riccardo

Yes I'm aware of how to set the properties I want, and the products appear on the page as I want, but my problem is the display properties always revert back to the program default when I have more products to add to another e-commerce object.

I'd just like to know if I can somehow retain the properties that I set.

Hi Barry,

if you modify the code html manually after the export on disk, if you reopen the project you need to re modify the html code.

Amend the HTML code?... this is not the answer I'm looking for :)

Think it's Incomedia who should be making the amendment so the user can customize the layout to his or her preference.

Guess I'll have to just stick with remembering to make the amendment each and every time I put a product on my pages... Frown
