Custom watermark  en

I would like to use a custom watermark on my photos, but there is very little information or examples on how to do this. I understand that I need to create a PNG file with transparent background - but what size should this be? Any tips on how to do this from step 1 onwards would be appreciated.

You can add a customized picture if you select a picture object, then use the edit button on the picture you would like to watermark.

If the standard watermarks are not the one you like then use custum to select a watermark you have created or found on internet.

The picture size is up to you, if you want 1 picture over the one you presen you should make it the same size as the picture itself, if you want the watermark to be repeated (wich is a normal option) you have to make it smaller, 4 times smaller gives you 4 repeats..... and so on.

And yes make a picture with tranparant background.

Thanks for responding Andre, but I already know that part. I need a custom watermark, and just clicking on "Custom" doesn't help as it goes looking for the custom watermark that needs to be created before you get to that point. It's the creation of that custom watermark that is the problem.

Thanks also Wsx5 - I'll check that out, but I still need to know what size the watermark needs to be - I'm not keen on randomly editing the size until I get the right one.

Tried Bytescout Watermark - unfortunately not what I'm looking for. This applies watermarks to existing images, whereas I just want to create a PNG file to use as a custom watermark in X5s image edit options. However, I did eventually track down where the existing X5 watermarks are stored, and it appears that they are 600 x 600 pixels (for anyone else who might be thinking of doing this as well).

Great Greame, thx,

But you can create in any format you like and test it, you can adjust it to you picture size if you wish, so there is no strict format for this.

Anyway, following the format from x5 makes it easyest to use.

THX!
