Lost my Project  en

I have my website-project on MS OneDrive. So far soo good.

But now, suddenly, I had to activate my Website X5 Evo again and when I start the program, my existing project is gone.

I still have it on my MS OneDrive but it´s not easy to import it.

What is happening and what can I do about it?

/Anders

hello Anders,

Set in the first startup page of x5, thepreference folder correct.

So at startup press the settings icon, then select the folder above the place where your project files are as default folder. This way all the projects should apear again.

Gooodluck, let me know if it still does not work. Besides that always make backup's with step 5 export project so that in the case of projects orders are gone you have something to fall back on.

Anders, I can't help myself sorry (& my apologies for butting in)

Everything Andre said is absolutely correct, and please (especially if you persist in using a folder synchronised with one drive) follow the advise to create an iwzip thru step 5 export project (rename with date at time of creation for multiple backups).

In my opinion you should NEVER allow one-drive to sync the Incomedia folder where your projects are stored, this is a known cause of instability and corruption.

I would pick up the Incomedia folder from one-drive and copy or move it to my documents, then set that as the default directory for reliability (?:\Documents\Incomedia\Website X5 2019.3 Evo) By all means copy the iwzip file to one-drive for safety.
