Multiple adverts in one project?  en

I am building a Website for a B&B business. We need the option to have multiple adverts running at once, or at least multiple adverts across the website. The business will remain closed for 4 months and for that we need a date dependent popup. In addition to that we also need a cookie banner at the top of the page.

While I am at it: Is there a possibility to insert HTML text (e.g. text with a link) into an advert type?

I am looking forward to your ideas.

Stay safe and healthy,

Yannic

Noack, the annoying cookie banner is easy, just turn it on.

As for variable advertising I am afraid that whilst you can dictate from when to when it will appear, you cannot set multiple adverts in WX5 I am sorry.

No you cannot insert html code into an advert, but you can add objects on the page or in the header/footer/sticky bar with html code or straight forward links if you wish. However, the advert itself can be a link.

Hello Noack,

Besides Eshac's good advice, you might be intrested in one of the latest objects made for x5, you need to buy it with credits, but it is what you seek except for 1 thing, it's not date dependable to setup. This needs to be done manually.

Check out the optional object here in the store:

You see this in a lot of profesional sites as advertising or sponsering availability.

You can set a link to them and show them in different ways, also there are some mouseover effects available.

Hope this helps, best regards,

Thank you Esahc (or Chase?)!

I knew this option existed in the 2016 version but I lost track of its position after the interface redesign. Thank you for bringing that up. A shame that it is not possible to add multiple adverts or one advert with HTML. I hope that feature is added in at some point. (Or I modify the finished code to contain an iFrame or something instead of the photo)

Thanks guys, have a great day and stay healthy!

Yannic
