Send mail & license

Hi,
I have a problem with send mail from webpage.
Until recently, the send mail was working (I am using certified SMTP) and all of a sudden it stopped working.
Nothing was changed on the server and on webpage.
Is it possible the send mail stopped working beceause of expired Website X5 license?

No, having support protection can not possibly affect your website, in fact not having protection should freeze you in time. Everything should work forever untill your host changes the rules.
Perhaps you should contact your webhost to see if anything has changed recently??
Is your hosting using PHP 7.2 or later??
Did the problem arise after the most recent update?

Webpage is hosted on my private server with Apache/2.4.10 and PHP version 5.6.39-0+deb8u1 (website test saying 5.6.0 is the lowest permisible version, so I think this is ok). Server is running on read-only system so any unauthorized changes are not possible.
I did not make any changes on server over 3 months.
A few days ago my customer notified me about problem with mail sending so I do not know exactly when problem occured.
I was trying to send mail over website test with different settings with no success.
I am using website X5 evo 2019.3.17

Problem solved.
I have upgraded PHP to PHP version 7.2.
