Cart Glitches?  en

Hello everyone,

I have a bit of conundrum (or two) I'm hoping someone can help me with.

My client has set up a store using the Incomedia capabilities, everything is working smoothly, except for two things:

1 - They have a javascript counter tool, which works fine for the rest of the site, except it randomly won't show the statistics for the user when they're in the cart steps. At best, it will show some of the steps, and skip others, but more often than not lately, it's not showing anything - it just shows the cart index and then all of sudden they're done, but nothing shows up on the counter. Anyone have any ideas as to why that is happening? The code is on the section 1 "Statistics, SEO and Code" part, so I don't see why it's not working.

2 - Some users of my client's site will randomly show up as having purchased an item twice. Sometimes even paying twice, even though they didn't click on it twice according to their comments.

If anyone has any thoughts I'd love to hear them because it's just boggling me.

Hello.Perhaps the third-party counter code conflicts with cart scripts.

Try changing its location on the page.Place on top or bottom.

"even though they didn't click on it twice according to their comments." - they may be wrong. Or this situation is caused by a third-party script conflict.

Try to remove all third-party scripts and test the site.

If you use site code optimization, disable it.

Hi Aleksej,

But it used to work up until my last update, albeit a bit sporadically, but I didn't change anything in the code and all of a sudden it went from working to not working at all.

I'm just wondering if there's any way to have the #step show up as well.

And generally we asked the buyers right away, so there's very little room for error or foggy memory.
