I upgraded from v8 to v9 and have now discovered the RSS feed filename has been changed from x5rssfeed.xml to x5feed.xml This has the disadvantage that all the previous subscribers to my RSS feed will no longer be updated. Is it possible to change the feed name back to x5rssfeed.xml again?

This problem is still there despite software updates.
I have been running a number of websites for some time and the RSS feed exported by Website X5 versions up to 8 had the filename: x5rssfeed.xml There are still lots of people subscribed to that channel.
Since v9, Incomedia has changed the filename to x5feed.xml meaning that everyone who subscribed to the v8 feed no longer gets any updates.
I have been manually copying the file to the old filename on my server, but that is hardly a good solution.
Let me suggest a solution which Incomedia can implement easily. When exporting the RSS feed to a website, simply automatically export the feed into two files: x5rssfeed.xml and x5feed.xml - this would solve the problem. You could allow this to be set as an option as those that never used v8 RSS feeds would not need the legacy file.
The resonce from Luca S. tells me that Luca has not understood the problem. I hope I have made it clearer this time.
Regards
Peter
Hi Peter,
in the Evolution 9 the file of Rss is x5feed.xml.everyone who subscribed to the v8 must register with thev9 rss.
You can set a redirec on the old file x5rssfeed.xml tho the new x5feed.xml.
