Lost navigation commands

suddenly lost buttons view and navigation commands (see pic). no changes were made to the gallery but now when I see preview they are missing. Even tried to open a previous backup to check if I made a few chnages but they seem to have disappeared from previos copy also. Even reinstalled X5 but they are still missing.

The little hand symbol you see means that the device you're currently viewing the Gallery on has touch capabilities:
The software, by defaults, removes the standard controls for the Gallery when it can be operated with fingers like on Mobile phone or Tablet. This is the reason why you're seeing this
Try operating the Gallery with the finger. It should work for you
