Aleksej,

I’m getting the following message when following instructions regarding available product quantity in “How to define product stock availability” official documentation.

So, looks like one step described as “Activate Send Data to Database” in this tutorial is missing.

I understand, that on my hosting site, the database needs to be created and WSX5 has to be notified about it.

In one of your previous responses, where I asked about the database, you said: “Ask to create a database. They should tell you: hosts, database name, database username, database user password.

I am about to call my hosting support and ask for the creation of the database. The question is where? I mean in which folder?

And after the file is created – how do I link it to WSX5 shopping cart?

I would appreciate detailed response, because I have zero experience in that matter. Something like “for Dummies” (smile).

Thank you in advance!

"I am about to call my hosting support and ask for the creation of the database. The question is where? I mean in which folder?" - You need to create a database on the hosting.Or you can ask the hosting technical support. The database is created in the hosting control panel (in most cases). It is not created in a folder.

"And after the file is created – how do I link it to WSX5 shopping cart?", "They should tell you: hosts, database name, database username, database user password." - yes, then you need to specify this data here:

And then:

"I would appreciate detailed response, because I have zero experience in that matter. Something like “for Dummies”" - if you have more questions - write them.

Lessons 20 to 23 show an example of database configuration.

Thank you, Aleksej,

I created the data base and it worked fine. It shows number of available items:

But now, when trying to change anything in Elements/Details in Product Catalog Object, I am getting this message?

What does it mean? I don't see any changes when clicked "OK" (to set it automatically).

I realised, that on the server, there are two entries for the page: with extenssions .html and .php.

Any idea why .html is called and not .php? When I manualy open the .php page - all seems to be fine...

Hello Tom,

Delete the .html version of the page from your server, and the problem will go away.

Kind regards,

Paul
