Starting A BLOG

I Really would like to implement a Blog on my website but I am at a loss as to how the blog works and how to be seen on my website.
X5 has very good help information but I can't seem to be able to get started properly.Does anyone have experience in setting up the Blog in Simple Terms?

I don't personally use a blog much, but there are many here who do. I'm sure some will put some tips and advice your way. But the guide linked to above explains the process in very simple language.
