Is there any way of editing the deafault login page?

Is there any way of putting a log out button on a locked page or limiting the time it is open for? Really asking so that the page doesn't stay open on a shared computer and ca be seen by someone who should not have access.

I have used the logout side of the optional login logout object but any other ideas would be very welcome.

Hello.

"Is there any way of editing the deafault login page?" - no.

"Is there any way of putting a log out button on a locked page" - yes, add a button to your header or footer.

"or limiting the time it is open for?" - no.

"Really asking so that the page doesn't stay open on a shared computer and ca be seen by someone who should not have access. " - As far as I know, at the moment there is no way to control the time of the session.

"how do I progam that button. The login/logout optional object does the jo but is there a better way please?" - You cannot modify the object. At least you cannot change the session lifetime.

No I know, thanks Aleksej. My question was, I have managed to do it with the optional object (there used to be a widget back in the day) but I just wondered if there was a better way of loging out.

The automatic page enables login but - apart from the optional object - I can see no way of loging out.

My qusstion is, is there a better way than using the optional object?

Thanks,

Duncan
