Clipped thumbnails in the gallery

I know that this topic has already been discussed, but nothing seems to have changed and I have not found a solution.
In the gallery, if one use presets, the thumbnails still cut off part of the photo. Because most of my photos are girls, their heads are cut off in the thumbnails and the presets are useless. I know, I have to click "none" and then the thumbnail is complete (without the mask), but that is not the solution of this problem, I suppose.
Someone has an idea?
I read, that everything worked in the previous version.
Question for Incomedia: when will something change?

Unfortunately I suspect this will not change because whoever developed this zoom and clip thumbnail thinks it looks good.
As you do not have the previous version would you like the previous version masks posted here?
I have requested Incomedia respond to you here as well.

Witold, attached is a zip file of all the thumbnail masks from v17
You can use each mask as a custom template if you wish (no zoom).

I didn't have a previous version, thx for the masks, it works.
I am enclosing an test-example of the cropped heads and your "normal" masks. Maybe a girl looks good with heads cut off, but not for me :)
