Recovery from webserver  en

I created a project and uploaded it to my webserver.  Shortly after my computer crashed and the project must have gotten corrupted on my local computer since it doesn't show up under "Edit an existing Project" in Project Selection, and I can't locate the save files on my hard drive.

Since I uploaded the project to my webserver, is it possible to import those files back into WebSite X5 Evo to be able to continue editing?

Hello Jon,

Unfortunately that is not possible.  Without a backup there is little you can do in this situation.

It's odd that your project files seem to have vanished, though.  What are the search methods you have tried so far?

The default project directory is C:\Users\User_name\Documents\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Evo  (replace User_name with the actual name of the Windows user).

Is there nothing showing when you click on the Backup button at the right hand side of the Project Selection screen?

Kind regards,

Paul

I have other projects showing up in that location, just not the most recent one I was working on when my PC crashed.  Looks like I will need to recreate the project based on what I see on the website then.  Thanks for the quick answer.
