Second character in this image.
Fourth character in this image.

Please guide.

I tried it 2; but how to intimate every website viewer that this character is 2?
Is there any simpler way to do so?
Please let me know.

This is probably due to the slightly different spelling of numbers in different countries. In Germany, the "one" is always written with a left dash at the top, in some countries the "one" is just a vertical line. So I would never have seen a "J" in this character above but would have recognized a "2" immediately. Maybe Inco should exclude such numbers from captcha if possible.....

I read 2, and if not try it again or change code.
you could, if i recall correct, change the pictures but then if it becomes too good readable then the use of it is diminished.
manual change has been discussed before here in the helpdesk, let me see if i can find it back.
the pictures are stored in a folder called captcha, but if you change this manually x5 will overwrite next update. so you need to send changes in x5.
a lot of trouble i would leave it or remove it, normally you don't get much spam, and if you do you can always activate it later on.
Besides all this, you can also use recaptcha
step 1 advanced TAB ->privacy and security -> security tab
