See below. If you attempt to delete the contents of the width property when cropping and replace with 1277, it instead comes out as 7126? It doesn't matter if you delete first or overwrite.

@ Craig

Hopefully Incomedia will look into it...

A word of advice from someone who is making websites since the <table> tag was the only way of organizing the website structure:
image resizing, cropping, optimizing etc. should be done OUTSIDE of WSX5 by using your favorite image manipulating software.

Cheers!

Okay thanks. Other packages like Nicepage and some of the website builders handle images very well. So having to first do it in Xara or something is going a step back.

@ Craig

Yes, it's a step back - but you'll have the full control of the images presented on your website (which is not a bad thing).

I do not trust various web-design platforms regarding image-manipulation... especially when .jpg optimization is involved...

yes I agree, I prefer to rely on specific software and prepare the images before inserting them on the website.

Okay thanks. Do you have any suggestions in terms of software that you would use for that? It would be useful if Websitex5 had a personal image library where you could store such things and easily access them.

Take a look at the free IrfanView : https://www.irfanview.com/

Tested this thanks.  'edit' then 'create custom selection'.

By the way, you asked about Font Awesome Icons in another thread and stated that you thought you would have to pay. FYI they are free, you don't have to pay. The only problem is that they are delivered remotely, I don't think you can download them.
