What Aleksej means is :

When you have protected the site then try to press

Ctrl+U

And

Ctrl + Shift + i

There are also tools that can copy/convert a page into a document.

Hello William,

If all you are looking for is a method to discourage quick opportunistic copy/paste of the text, then consider showing the text as an image instead.  This also renders it invisible to bots/scrapers, etc.

Kind regards,

Paul

(It > En) ... in addition to the possibilities already obtainable with the normal options available, ... if you need to limit the selection and direct copy / paste of a specific section of the page, this would be possible with a simple EXTRA code ...
... if you are interested, you have to put here the LINK of the page, and indicate the section of the page you want to inhibit, and warn me, ...otherwise ignore my post...

ciao

Simply stated, ANYTHING that can be seen on a website can be copied. This includes:

- text (simply grab a screenshot and then OCR it)

- images (simply grab a screenshot)

- video (simply use a screen recorder application)

- music (simply use an audio recording application)

- HTML code (simply copy and paste)

- ANYTHING (enough said)

Hi folks , thanks for the info. I know that there is no real way to block copying from the webpage. I was just looking for a way to stop the casual right click and copy which Aleksej H has directed me to and thats just what I was looking for.

Cheers all.
