Stock availability doesn't update  en

I've a MySQL database version 10.3 thru my hosting company with php version 7.4. I added the correct database information in website x5, because orders and accounts appear perfectly right in my DB when I launch my site with the webxite x5 FTP.

But my stock availabilty doesn't want to update. When I click update in products it says connection error. All the other information is right in my database, so I don't understand why it doesn't work. My stock stays at 0 and doesn't add the amount, also after hosting. Firewall is ok.

Anyone knows the answer? Thank you already

This can only be that database can't be reached.

Check settings of adress, name, password from the database with the info you set at your host end placed in x5. be aware of capitals and spaces and thinks like that.

The connection should be ok, all the other tables appear such as account and orders when I use my current seetings. I tried different settings but they don´t work.

I´ve seen that I use phpMyAdmin with MariaDB instead of MySqlDB. Can that be the problem?

Hello Mael

How are you trying to update the availability online?

Keep in mind that to update the availability, you need to export the project. The "Update" button is only used to sync the software with the Database, but not the other way around.

Specify an amount of product to add and export the project. See if the table is there

Keep me posted on this

Thank you

Stefano

I see no special table with products stock or quantity, only the orders and accounts tables. Should there be an special table for the stock? That one isn't made when I export the site online.

Did you use different databases for every object you need a database on?

Don't use databses multiple times, it's better to have 1 for every object in x5.

Hello, I had that same problem. The problem, in my case, was in a functionality of my hosting provider that acts as a "firewall" against attacks etc. When trying to update the stock, this functionality blocked that request. I spoke to my provider and we were able to fix it.
