Try this.Specify an absolute path, and do not put quotes for it.

Thanks Aleksej for your idea but I don't understand how put 1 or 2 pictures such an url as you suggest inside each block of the timeline....
The pictures are in the file Preview of the project in a file images...

See my timeline

I know how to put a link for an url web such https://www.siteweb.com but not put my files on line as you suggest...

Sorry for my ignorance.

Regards,

Danielle

Hi Aleksej,

Thank you for your help.

I tried yesterday to do that without success because I never succeed to put my picture in a url. It appears simple for you but impossible for me...

More it seems to be very difficult to follow this process for each picture in many boxes in my timeline.

Don't you think it will be simpler to permit a code like <src img...> inside the description as in an Aimated image object, accordion, blog etc...?

I hope you'll understand my request.

Thank you.

Danielle

"Don't you think it will be simpler to permit a code like <src img...> inside the description as in an Aimated image object, accordion, blog etc...?" - yes i think it would be easier.But at the moment there is no such possibility.You can wait for this feature to be added, but this wait can last for years.

I showed you an example that works for me.Perhaps there are other options for solving this problem.But I don't know about them.

Hello Aleksej.

Thank you for your answer. I will expect!
Could you please help me for the process to follow to obtain my picture in the url as you show me there:

<img src=https://aleksius.com/images/joomla/rasshireniya/stockable-custom-fields/dobavlenie-polya-v-tovar.png alt="Stockable Custom Fields для VirtueMart" />

It is my problem until your message.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Danielle

...!... also do a simple try to insert / paste this string in the description field:
<a href="https://www.google.it/" alt="GOOGLE" title="GOOGLE"><img src="http://www.clker.com/cliparts/7/6/7/a/11954448741913331555FEN_bedroom_eyes.svg.med.png" /></a>

Hi KolAsim,

Thanks a lot ti you, and Aleksej and John too.

I now understand that "src img" cannot be used in this Vertical timeline object (I don't understand why because it seems to me that it must be a simple modification of the code of this object...).

So the solution is to take the url of my picture from my server and put it inside the description. So I'll follow your recommendations.

Thank you again for your attempts to all of you, and to JiPer too.

I'll close this post and change my question to Idea.

Have a ice week-end.

(It > En) ... ... sorry, I didn't understand if my previous link <a href = "etcetera etcetera ... put in the description if it works for you or it doesn't work for you...?...
... if it doesn't work you can use the EXTRA code as in the previous STAMP ...
... I don't even understand your last STAMP, ... maybe you want to use an image instead of "Voir"...?...

Hello to you guys,

I'm taking the bandwagon ... For all intents and purposes... inspired with John's code wink

Using the URL of one of my images on the server (thumbnail for size), I achieve this result.

I think that's what Danielle wants to do.

But maybe she's looking for another easier solution? For a lot of files it is probably painful to enter full URLs every time?

To define Danielle and tell us ...

J.P.

... great Jiper, that was what I was interested in knowing, and so my previous string works accordingly...wink
... and if it works, then you can use relative URLs taken from your PC instead of absolute URLs from the net ...
... always if this is the result you want to achieve...laughing...

.

ciao

@KolAsim,

<a href="etcera..." works BUT:

as JP explains, this solution is very painfull for all the pictures of the timeline.

I would like to write simply something like that (IE my project, Box 1):

Aleksej said that it is impossible now for this object. John confirm and you: only with "a href"...

So I wonder.

... then OK ...
... attach your images to the project, (in one of the two ways foreseen by the program),  leaving the "files" folder as the default destination, for example your PC image named:
yourimage.png
... so the relative path will be
files/yourimage.png

.............

<img src = "files/yourimage.png" width="50" />

... or:

<a href="https://www.google.it/" alt="GOOGLE" title="GOOGLE"> <img src = "files/yourimage.png" width="50"/> </a>

... will work in Preview too, ... simple ...wink...

KolAsim, you're the Best!!  it works well... I did this:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Vivamus turpis elit, feugiat nec congue in, imperdiet eget lectus. Nulla non neque lorem.
<img src = "files/NoProblem.png" width="50" />

and result is:

Thank you,

KolAsim, it's not OK for me. And it's exactly what I do since 3 days...

"
<img src = "files/images-e1134905.jpg" />

"

Maybe the reason is that I use a temporary server for this project (as you saw).

I try in few minutes to test it in my website in a server with https. and I say to you.

I'm sorry frownfrown

Hello Daniellle

You have to remove the / - like this :

<img src = "files/images-e1134905.jpg" >

That is the correct "way".

@John: unfortunatelly, no difference with or without "/"

and @ KolAsim: it doesn't work...

My new test:

BUT the test in my website is OKhttps://www.assistante-34.com/page-11

It's difficult for me to explain it only with the https ??? (@ John: my test project is on a personnal server without SSL). But now it seems to be THE explanation.

(So what I was doing since October, 27 was right but not worked...yell)

Thank you for your help. I'll test when I upload the final project and tell you if it's OK.

Thank you very mych for all to spend a lot of time for me.

Have a nice evening.

Yes I know for Jiper's test, and in my website it works too with "..." inside the description.

("BUT the test in my website is OK https://www.assistante-34.com/page-11")

It will be the mystery of the day cool but this post will help some users maybe.

Thank you very much KolAsim.
