I would like to add a gmail link to my website so people can send my an email regarding items I have on my website.  I have already looked at a shop but this is not for me.

Can anyone help me with this.

I did try the contact page but for some reason this does not work.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello Victoria,

You can use the instructions in the article below:

How to create a link to send an e-mail?

It's often not possible to use Gmail addresses in conjunction with the Contact Form Object as emails which originate from a domain other than the host domain can be seen as 'spammy'.

Kind regards,

Paul

Victoria,

I use a Gmail account on all my "own" websites.. All the time..  see attached Screenshot.

You must have something in the subject line for emails to send..  I am using send to database, but i also get an email notification as the box is ticked.  Realistically,  you can set up    "sendemailhere" and create a hyperlink then when prompted and put in the gmail address, again I always put something in "subject" box, like "web enquiry" or somehting along those lines.  Email me (address  in picture).. if you require further advice or help, as i know how frustrating hitting a wall sometimes is.
