Ftp upload to server ver 9

HI, I have loaded version 9 and created a new web site. My version 8 is still running on the server. When I try toload my new version 9 website using ftp it comes back with an error message. Please check with your internet provider that yo have the correct connection information I can upload my version 8 website using the same information. Why wont it let me upload my new version 9 website to the server? James

Hello James! Please make sure your firewall/antivirus is not active while you export, this could be the reason why it is not uploading correctly on your server. After, if you are running Vista or Windows 7, please right click on the program's icon and make sure you are running it as administrator.
After this has been done, please send an email to your provider and make sure that the username, FTP address and password you are adding are correct.
