I was going to make a banner for a coming event and I find the banner feature has gone in the latest version of Evo; or at least I can't find it so I am looking at Web Animator as an option. This is currently on a good discount but there is very little information about it on the website so I don't know if the software will do what I want it to. I want for example to add a Christmas tree with a message of a coming event but as far as I can see I am limited to cartoon drawings when I want to add a photograph. Does anyone have experience with the software and are you able to say how useful you have found it?
Thank you
Adrian

Hello Adrian,
You might get some response on the forum here to your query, but you would probably get more replies by directing your question to the official WebAnimator community:

Paul, Thanks, I didn't know there was one....on my way
@ Adrian
If you do not need a complex animation - you can use any graphic software for making GIFs
@ Anyone
Web animator uses FLASH or HTML 5 for animations?
WebAnimator uses HTML5.
@ Paul
Cheers, man!
@Sinisa,
Flash is dead at the end of this year ! and not supported anymore by Adobe.
WebAnimator is worth the money - especially when on sale. And it often is.
I think it is a good product.
And Flash - dont use it. it is highly insecure.
The webanimator can animate figures as well as images. You can also move a gif. I have made an animation that included a flying seagull.
Even if I can recommend the WebAnimator I also have to say that the Google Web Designer is a good tool - and still free.

Thank you John, I appreciate your note. Do you have the seagull on a website I can see?
Not right now. I will see if I can find it. Stay tuned.
I found the project and inserted it in a testsite.
You can see it here : http://eksempelsite.dk/churches/side-54.html
You can also see another example made with WebAnimator here :
http://www.calendarforum.dk/restaurant/book-table.html
This example requires the WebAnimator Plus
Try to click on "tableplan" 1,2 and 3.
You can also see the integration with a calendar by choosing "Viev" day or week.
I think that shifting between the tableplans 1,2 and 3 looks cool.
