I am using WebSite X5 Pro 2020.3.6. When I post to the blog everything looks fine in the preview, however when the update to the website is uploaded to the internet and I go to view the blog update, I get this error message on an otherwise blank page:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ':', expecting ';' or '{' in /home4/kurthiller/public_html/niederkornsilver.com/res/x5engine.php on line 5460
What do I need to do to correct the error and get the blog functioning again?
Best regards,
Kurt

Hello Kurt,
WebSite X5 requires a minimum of PHP version 7.1 to be installed and configured correctly on the server:
What are the minimum requirements for the server?
Does your server comply with these requirements?
Many thanks!

I tried to download WebSite X5 Manager to see where the problem is, but it says that I can't download it on a computer. Is there another way. I don't use a cell phone or a tablet. I don't know if my computer has PHP version 7.1, but I am assuming not, since I did not install it. Are there step by step instructions on how to download PHP 7.1 or newer and install it somewhere?
Best regards,
Kurt

I figured it out! Please disregard my previous post. I misunderstood your reply. I went to the online server that hosts my website and changed the php setting in the control panel online and now my blog is working fine. Thank you so much for your help.
