The guys who I am doing the site for have asked if they can have an area where they login with username and password to post comments. Is this possibe and if so what is the best way?. I have seen Locked pages and Private area but not sure how to do it or the best method.

. . . no area -

-> new post

-> upper right use *lock*

-> so post will be *private* - and only Inco can read (No mods, no users)

Hi Dave!

The best thing you can do is create a reserved area for their users. You will then be able to manage their accounts and they may add comments.

If you need more info on how to create this researved area, you can:

  • have a look at our Tutorials, Step 4
    http://www.websitex5.com/en/video-tutorial.html
  • Download our manual from the ''download'' section in the top right corner of this page
  • or use our help by clicking on the little arrow next to ''help'' in the program's window and selecting ''Summary''.

Cheeky Man - maybe the software can't do what I need it to? I can finish the site if it can. Basically I need an area for a blog that only certain people can have access to? I know only certain people can post to a blog but at the moment everyone can see it?
