Learning Management System

I need to set up a learnng management system for online trainng to students. There are lots of Wordpress plugins and some stand alonges like Moodle. Has anybodt had any experience of running one with X5?
Grateful for thoughts and pointers.

I need to stream videos and allow the download of PDFs. There needs to be a user forum and a payment facility. I appreciate there may not be one product that covers all these. I am looking at Moodle which I know a little about - but I am open to other ideas. At least 1000 users - possibly up to 5000.
Basically we are moving our language training - now with 35 years experience - online.

Hello.In your case, I would recommend Moodle.
I know there are special extensions for Joomla too:

But a specialized system like Moodle would probably do better.
