Hello,
I added a Logo Slider Object to a project and added a description for each Sliding Logo but don't see it anywhere after previewing. Can anyone else reproduce this issue (bug)? I need this to work for a clients project so if it can be fixed very quickly it will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for fixing it Incomedia.

The discription will be visible if you set an link (they belong to eachother)
it is not an description of the picture, just from the link if you have set this then you can make a description to be shown.
BTW
This works only online.

Yes, i know that and links have already been created for each logo before i added descriptions and still no description text is displaying. But thanks for the reply and wanting to help @Andre
So is someone willing to test this out and see if the bug can be replicated? Thats my main question here. Thanks in advace.
I already did,
just did not upload the test page, here it is.
https://andreweb.nl/x5_test/page-69.php
or if you prefere html;
https://andreweb.nl/x5_test/page-69.html
hope this helps!
And again, you don't see it in preview, but in pro you can view in one of your own browser(s) and there it should work.
A.J. as Andre's example shows, the description is only visible on mouseover (disappointing). For this reason you may be better served by using Link Tooltip. It is still only on mouseover but I have found I have more control over how it is displayed (step 2, tooltip on mouseover) and it displays in internal preview.
Can you provide a link to your site?
There may be an alternative solution.

@Andre And @Esahc
Thanks for the info, knowing that I needed to preview in a normal browser or publish online fixed the issue, thanks you.
Hi @Esahc I originnaly went with the tooltip but the client wanted something that was more centered to the middle of the image when hovered over and not all the way out to the left, right, top, or bottom. So it's nicer now to be able to get some descriptive text thats more centered upon hovering the image.
Which brings me to request the following idea for a future release of X5 which is can you please add a "Center" tooltip place option so that the tooltip is displayed at the most center postion of the image that is being hovered over? And the ability to have some kind of editing ability over the descriptive text would be very nice as apposed to the basic black text on white background in a small size 12-font. Would be nicer to edit text and background color along with some font style and size options.
This will be much appreciated and thanks in advance.
Thanks again @Andre & @Esahc for your valued input on this it fixed the issue I was facing.
Hello AJ,
Thanks, i will set this post as idea post.
You are aware that you can custumize the behavior of the pop up window in the tooltip?
Step2 -> tooltip on mouseover.
if so then see this message as help for other users. :)
Thanks again AJ.
best regards.

Hi @Andre,
Yeah im aware that the tooltip can be edited along with some of its placement, style, size and animation options.
However, even with all of these tooltip customization options there is no option (as mentioned above) to center the tooltip directly over the center most area of the image upon hover.
Thanks for submitting this as an idea.
No problem,
Hope it can be made.
Best regards
