Hi teo F.,

1. First of all, please check that your server is set to ISO-78859-1

2. Furthermore, please check that your language settings inside WebSite X5 version 7 are set to Greek language (step 1). If not, you need to add the Greek language as it is not preset.  Please proceed as follows:

Setting on your PC:

  • Click on Start button, then go to Control Panel. In Category view, click on Clock, Language, and Region link, and then click on Change display language link under “Region and Language” section. Restart Windows.
  • From Windows Control Panel, choose 'International and language settings' icon and from the 'Advanced' tab set the desired language as the default one.  Restart Windows.

Settings inside WebSite X5:

  • All texts in the languages that are preset within WebSite X5 Evolution can be are available in INI format inside the software installation folder, within the folder called 'language.ini' (C://Program FIles/WebSite X5 Evolution/Language.ini).

  • You can use the following link in order to get the text related to the Greek language. You can copy and paste it into the Language.ini file present into the installation folder (C://Program FIles/WebSite X5 Evolution/Language.ini): http://forum.websitex5.com/viewtopic.php?t=3761

  • Now it is possible to start the program WebSite X5 to create the  new web site. Remember to set the new language content from the step 1 'General Settings'.

3.  Concerning the names of your files: You just need to leave the greek name for the menu and set an english name for the page. You can do it accessing to the page properties in Step 2.

Hope this could help you! Please let me know,

Noemi

Hi, teo F.,

I think there was a misunderstanding.
The sitmape (the name of the pages) can be written in Greek language. However it is not possible to use Greek letters to define the properties for site optimization. This option is available in step 2 "page properties".
Please, let me know if it is clear!
Thank you,

Noemi

Hi  teo F.,

the properties for site optimization, available in step 2 "page properties" need to be written in English in order to uplaod the website correctly.

So, please  write sitmape (the name of the pages) in Greek language. After that open the page probperties and write the "File Name" in English.

Thank you,

Noemi
