Why is the "URL for Online Control Panel access:" grayed out in Control panel >> Website X5 manager?
I need to change the url in there but its grayed out.

Because it's for your information only, not to be changed, if you want to reach it you need to set that adres in your webbrowser.
normaly it's set behind the original home website adres, but i think you work localy at the moment.

Did something changed? because before lastest version i was able to set it from there.
so everytime i make changes and re-publish it will overwrite it with localhost?

for me it's set at the online website, i am not sure why it in on local host for you, have you uploaded to localhost? that seems the only reasonable explanation.
Else upload first if you not have done so, after that check again, i think it is set the moment it is active (uploaded and needed because of items set in your website).
