Need help creating a iwzip file for export. I have tried exporting the file and get an error message stating something is wrong.
Must the export file be saved to an existing folder on my hard drive or will the program make a folder?

Hello John,
Maka a folder or choose a folder that is on your drive or USB memory stick (or similair).
X5 will not create a folder just a file. use step 5 export project.

Thanks,
I have done both. I have created a folder on my hard drive and tried to export the file to this folder, no luck I receive an error message that states something is wrong but will not say what is wrong. The same thing happens when I try and export to a USB memory stick.
I have also tried to export using “Export the Website to disk” and I can copy the folders and HTML files to either the Hard Drive Folder or to the USB memory stick but NO iwzip file is created.
I am trying to transfer the Website to a new computer and I do not have the old computer available.
Can you make a prtscrn from the error or when exporting does not work?
Do you have a functioning project? Or did something go wrong on the "old" computer and now you are trying to "rebuild" the project on another computer?
John is correct, it's a bit confusing what you are trying to do because this frase;
I am trying to transfer the Website to a new computer and I do not have the old computer available.
You can only use export project for this (do not use website to disk). So use the old computer make there an export project to any media, then import that on new computer. That's the best way.

I have attempted to export the website by using Export the Project on the old computer. The program starts to export but stops at 5% and states that there is an error and cannot complete. The program does not state list the error. What will stop the transfer and how do I fix the problem.
John, is there a chance that the project on the old PC is in the onedrive/documents folder and you are not logged in to the Microsoft Account? Can you also confirm that the project still opens without error on the old PC?

I have not opened the project on the old computer, will try. Will also check onedrive. - Thanks

I am able to open the current project on the old computer, however when I go and “Export the Project” I get an error message saying it ran into a problem.
When I Export the Project can I export directly to a USB memory stick or must I first export the project to a folder on the old computer, in order to make an iwzip file? Is there another way to make an iwzip file for transfer to a new computer?
You should be able to set it directly to mem. stick. Else try desktop.
What kind of error? prtscrn?
There is no other option unfurtunatly.
hopefully the error can be cleared.
