Hello Incomedia,

I think it's time to do some changes with your update strategy.

Why ?

- Beacuse I found another blocking bug few weeks ago... (25/04/2021). Post has been changed to private by Incomedia.
- This bug is confimed by your dev team. (07/05/2021)

Today no fix ( 10/05/2021) !!!!!

This bug is a blocking bug.... there is no other solution or workaround because it's an issue with the software concept and dev...

Either more 2 weeks with no solution !!!!!

I cannot continue to use the software with the e-Commerce because this bug is a blocking bug... So the urgence and priority should be at 'URGENCE'...All the dev team should be into alerting to find the good way to provide a fix.

And your (Incomedia) answer is:

"Yes, the issue has been found and will be solved in the future update"

It is not acceptable to wait for a blocking bug... All efforts need to be done to change your organization and maybe into the software, to provide any quick fix by a DLL technology or other concept and by downloading a quick fix to provide a full functionnality to your customers which have paaid !!!!

And when it's a priority / blocking bug your job is to provide a fix into 48 hours maximum.

We paid update protection for that and not to wait 1 month for fixing...

I worked into softwar ecompanies since long time, and I can just said to you that any blocking bug was fixed ASAP and provide for any customer needs... With no delay to wait a next release...

It's the concept of Micro Update

Not necessary to download all software but just a quick fix library and we can continue to work.

It's your role to find a way to do that, if not already to do it.

I hope this message will be useful, because too many times users need to wait, to wait, to wait a fix ....

And when it's a blocking bug, there is no decision to take between internal meetings and so on. It's a PRIORITY to SOLVE IT and to satisfy customers.

I will send also this post to Incomedia CEO (Stefano Ranfagni) because we cannot continue to be blocked and no possibility to work because your team does not unlock customer situation.

Hope this helps to improve your software updates for US

Enjoy!
Axel

Having verified the issue internally, I confirm, as Stefano already reported on the post you are managing with him, that the problem has been solved, so that you will get the solution as soon as the update is ready.

Thanks! Kind regards.

Hello Luis,

Quickly. the bug is about the new product sheet for the e-Commerce part !!! On an existing project.
So the quality test is not deeper before to push a new release. tongue-out
And from my side I am blocked since more 10 days !!! no workaround...

The main picture is not displayed, and the gallery on the bottom displays only one picture into relation.
Plus bad displaying of the text into description.

So 3 bugs into the same part !!!! just nothing yell

Enjoy!
Axel

And here a new blocking bug detected into the new product sheet...

https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/241250

Where is the deeper quality control before to distribute a release ?

Is it normal ?

We paid and we need to wait a future update with no dead line, because not possible to continue to use the software => blocking bug with no workaround !!!!

Absolutely not normal .
