I have a SEO expert company looking at the SEO of one of my websites made with website x5 V9.
Enclosed 2 screenshots of how ( according to them ) the H1 tag should be placed and a screenshot how the h1 manifests when inserted with website x5.
I can remove the H1 tag and replace it with the one ( see screenshot h1 ok ) but once I publish, it overwrites it again.
Is there a way to accomplish this, without the software overwriting it, or even better to insert it in the editor so it displays as screenshot ( h1 ok )?
Thx!

Hello,
This tag was inserted in order to perform the indexing names and serves pages for indexing. There is no way to delete this file from WebSite X5 v9, if deleting the file from html generated.
This is a CSS Class tag isn't it.....
If it serves the page for indexing.... Why is it the same Heading on every webpage?

Hello,
Thx, In my view, sites of website x5 are good what SEO concernes. This exports tells me it could be better if the h1 could be clean and not with the Class tag.
I wonder why we get options in page properties such as:
insert before the: html tag body tag head tag
after the body tag and within the body tag
But not right after the body tag where the h1 should be?:
</script>
</head>
<body>
<divid="imSite">
<divid="imHeader">
<h1>Taxi Brunna</h1>
When doing H1 and H2 tag analysis it is also important to take into account the position of tagged text on the page. The thing is that search engines read web pages from the top left hand corner to the bottom of the page on the right. That means that H1and H2 tags are most effective at the beginning of the content.
Hello,
WebSite X5 Evolution 9 generates the code in HTML 5 and not in XHTML. the rules of HTML 5 does not require a particular position of <h1> that can be repeated in multiple sections because the code has semantic rules.
In my view the "Heading" Tags will be phased out eventually in HTML5 as the search engine uses "Title" Tags and if there is no title it then seeks content from the body of the page. (Google especially)
It actually bypasses the H1 Tag in some instances....
This is "OLD" Coding methinks and a recent SEO Company that uses a piece of software said "The heading tags are all wrong in X5 and will not get anywhere in a search engine!" What a crock of **** I've had approx. 15-20 - X5 websites on the first page in no time at all!!

Hi,
I must say, all the websites made with x5 do very well in the search engines.
One of my clients however, is paying a SEO ( external ) company and that's what they cam up with. Maybe they dont really know what they are talking about..?
Hello,
Maybe you just talk to the SEO company to better understand what they mean. The <h1> header is inserted properly and indexing don't varies if it is inserted imHidden.

Hey Luca,
Thx. They say that it needs to be a a pure <h1>Taxi Brunna</h1> and not inserted imhidden. They say it could make a difference in the search engine ( page 6 instead of 11 ) they say....
I told them I think it works just fine this way, and that for now I cannot change this in the software. I did not recieve an answer from them since.
If the option in page properties, advanced, was given to insert right after the body tag, it would however be possible for us to insert the pure <h1> tag?
Hello,
The only solution is to edit the html 5 code generated by WebSite X5 Evolution 9. Keep in mind that the class imHidden don't generated any type of problems seo side.
